Inheriting the Past, Inspiring the Next

In this project, I introduced two kinds of intangible cultural heritage, Dongyang bamboo weaving and Yuhang paper umbrella. The only thing these artisans have in common is that they are all older, and they told me that not many people are willing to learn these crafts, and the common problem these cultures face is that they may be lost.

I hope to spread these intangible cultural heritage through this photography project, let more people know about these past cultures, and make the future of these ancient cultures more hopeful.
